Today, I came across a BODYARMOR Sports Drink ad on YouTube.

The ad kicks off with a quirky use of Artificial Intelligence, making it entertaining due to its sheer absurdity. This is a sharp contrast to the latter part, which showcases the real effort and commitment of athletes.

BODYARMOR, under The Coca-Cola Company’s umbrella, markets itself as a drink free from artificial sweeteners, flavors, or dyes.

From my viewpoint, the ad is compelling for two reasons.

  • It taps into the AI craze, acknowledging how it has become a buzzword amidst today’s digital noise and misinformation.
  • It champions the authentic aspects of sports and fitness: real sweat, real effort, and a real beverage.

Watching the commercial has me eager to grab a BODYARMOR after my next gym session.

It also sparks another thought: In an era where we are bombarded with fake information, should brands strive even harder to offer real, tangible experiences to their consumers?
